The High-Tech CEREC Process

Once the tooth is prepared:

1. Dr. Yu uses an infra-red camera that will help to recreate the image of the prepared tooth in our computer.
2. Then your dentist will design the restoration to make it fit your tooth and bite perfectly; size, shape, and surface contours.
3. This design is then sent wirelessly to the in-office milling machine, where a small block of porcelain will be carved into your perfectly-fitting restoration... in only a matter of minutes.
4. This crown applied to the tooth and verified by Dr. Yu, that the bite is correct; and that everything fits comfortably and works properly.
5. The restoration is bonded and then polished to enhance its life-like appearance to the tooth.
