The latest CEREC 4.1 softare is becoming so smart that it is almost fool proof. Coupled with the strength of the EMax disilicate porcelain, we can now produce very conservative bonded porcelain inlays/onlays/crowns/veneers that can be said as the most accurate porcelain restorations ever. Also, with the latest Impulse porcelain we can make the ultra thin veneers, 0.25 mm, a reality.

Instead of cutting away precious enamel and dentin, dentists in the CEREC world can think and plan each tooth more conservatively and still get them finished in the same appointment most of the time. For many years, dentists has been taught to cut away healthy tooth structures so that the tradtionally cemented crowns can be done.
